Senior finance expertise.
No junior hand-offs.
Key Ledgers Global is led by Bharat Varsani FCCA and Brian Sochall, two senior professionals with over 45 years of combined experience across CFO advisory, tax strategy, forensic accounting and commercial finance.

Bharat Varsani
FCCA
Bharat Varsani is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) with over 20 years of experience in financial analysis, audit and forensic accounting. He founded Key Ledgers to provide independent, court-ready expert evidence to solicitors, barristers and courts across England and Wales.
Every instruction is handled personally at director level. There are no junior handoffs, no shared teams and no passing your matter between departments. Clients receive the same senior-level attention on every instruction, from initial enquiry through to report delivery and, where required, court attendance.

Brian Sochall
Brian Sochall brings decades of senior-level financial and commercial experience to Key Ledgers. With a background spanning business restructuring, financial dispute resolution and commercial litigation support, Brian provides clients with forensic analysis grounded in real-world commercial understanding.
His work spans complex business interruption claims, PCP and consumer finance disputes, and affordability analysis matters. Brian works directly with instructing solicitors from the point of initial enquiry through to the production of court-compliant reports and, where required, expert attendance.
What business leaders say
about working with us.
Bharat's approach is unlike any other financial adviser I have worked with. He came in, reviewed our entire structure, identified savings we did not know existed, and delivered a written strategy within the agreed timeframe. His savings alone have more than covered his fee multiple times over.
We brought Bharat in for a pre-sale review and he identified structural issues we would never have found ourselves. The preparation work over 18 months meant we exited at full value with no surprises for the buyer. Commercially sharp and completely reliable.
The fixed-fee review paid for itself within the first quarter. Corporate tax restructured, capital allowances claimed, VAT scheme implemented. Clear, written, no ambiguity. This is what proper advisory looks like.
What we stand for.
To be the trusted financial advisory firm that businesses turn to for clarity, strategy and measurable improvement, not compliance paperwork.
Structured, commercially focused financial advice that improves profitability, reduces tax exposure and supports long-term growth.
Senior-level attention on every instruction. No junior hand-offs. Commercial clarity over box-ticking.
- Senior-led, always

- Precision and independence
- Fixed fees, no surprises
Whether it's tax, CFO

Bharat Varsani FCCA is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with over 25 years of experience advising owner-managed businesses, property investors, and healthcare groups. No. We are a financial advisory practice, not a compliance firm. We do not replace your accountant or bookkeeper. We focus entirely on strategy, tax optimisation, and forward planning. Our clients retain their existing compliance arrangements and work with us for the higher-level advisory that their accountant does not provide.
Our practice is primarily UK-focused, specialising in UK tax and corporate law. We work with UK-registered businesses and UK-resident directors and investors, including those with international interests. If you have cross-border complexity, we work alongside specialist international advisers as needed.
All engagements begin with an initial conversation, no obligation and no charge. Once we understand your situation we will propose a fixed-fee scope of work. Most clients start with a structured review of their current financial position, which produces a written report with prioritised recommendations. Work begins within one to two weeks of agreement.
We work primarily with care home operators, property investors and developers, healthcare providers (dental, pharmacy, nursing homes), and owner-managed businesses across professional services. Most clients have turnover above 250k and are at a stage where generic compliance advice is no longer sufficient for their goals.
